Hello, my name's Melissa Malick and I am one of Thornton’s special education teachers. This is my 8th year teaching and I am thrilled to be returning to Thornton Elementary. I graduated from Trinity University with my Bachelors of Arts degree in Humanities in 2005 and earned my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Trinity in 2006.

This year I  am working as a collaborative teacher with Mr. Tiner in 4th grade. This means that I co-teach with Mr. Tiner to meet the needs of all our Thornton students. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning with your children!
