Hello Driggers Hounds! I am so excited to be a part of the Driggers team as your Art Specialist.

A little about me, I have been teaching since 2001-2002. I have a Bachelor's degree from Texas A & I University where I studied art and education. I am married to a very sweet man and we have two GREAT children.

I enjoy the outdoors, gardening, cooking and "artsie" things.

I have lots of exciting things planned for the students here at Driggers this year. Check our web page for updates.

Site Description
SUMMER ART STUDIOS JUNE 2 - AUGUST 8, 2014 The Southwest School of Art’s Summer Art Studios offers 1 - 2 week long classes in a positive, nurturing, and fun environment for students ages 5 - 18. There are over 100 diverse classes available for students to attend and each week brings a new selection. Each class is taught by a professional artist and artist educators who help develop students' individual expression.
This site provides an opportunity to make interactive art online. In the "Collage Machine" student artists are challenged to create art with a variety of shapes. This is great practice for working with positive and negative space. "Still Life Composer" allows students to understand how to draw objects on the picture plane to show space. "Jungle" allows you to create a Rousseau style jungle. scene "Brushter" allows student to play with different quality of lines and brushstrokes.
This site allows students to learn a variety of art techniques through the master artist
