Hardee

My name is Weldon "Paul" Hardee and I am the Speech Language Pathologist at Driggers Elementary.  I have more than 30 years experience as a speech pathologist, either working with children or teaching others how to work with children.

The role of a speech pathologist in a public school is to help a child become better at communicating so that he or she can learn in a school setting and meet daily needs.  The speech pathologist can't teach a child every word and every sentence in the language so we have to teach some specific skills and then help a child generalize rules and vocabulary.  Every child is important to me and, while I can't guarantee results, I will work as hard as I can to help your child make progress.

You can contact me at weldon.hardee@nisd.net or at 210-397-5929 if you have questions or concerns.  I will periodically post some internet links and some information for parents.  Here's to a great year and I look forward to meeting all of you parents.
