Welcome to my webpage. My name is Sharon Glasscock. This is my twentieth year of teaching, though my first here at Mead Elementary. This is my ninth year as a CIT, with previous teaching experiences as a Math Specialist and a fourth grade teacher. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a specialization in Reading, from Texas A&M University . In December of 2005, I earned my Master's Degree, with an emphasis in Integrating Technology in the Classroom , from Walden University .
As the Campus Instructional Technologist, my job is to encourage and support technology integration. I work closely with the classroom teachers as they bring their classes to the computer lab to work on technology lessons that enhance and build upon what is happening in the classroom. I help to develop and implement lessons and activities using technology to help our children learn. My job is very exciting as I work with both teachers and students.
My mission is to help the students at Mead Elementary become successful life-long learners. I will encourage them to reach their fullest potential by establishing high expectations in both academics and behavior. I will try to make our students feel important by treating each of them with respect, dignity, and compassion. My goal is for the students at Mead Elementary to believe in themselves.
