I am the Past President of CampSIG a Special Interest Group within TCEA. The CampSIG group was formed to create a group that would support and communicate with the persons on the campuses responsible for the technology. Campuses have unique problems that need immediate attention and the people in CampSIG sought to provide that help for the campus based technology people. In addition, training has been provided by the CampSig group for the members. This group has been the largest and most active of the Special Interest Groups and has plans to continue serving the needs of its members in the future by staying in touch with their changing needs.
I have two children. My older son just received his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Texas A&M University in College Station. He will be working at Oak Ridge Laboratories in Tennessee. He and his wife, Dorre have two children, a little 3 year girl, and an active one year old boy. My younger son works as a professional hacker for McAfee. He aso has a degree in computer science from Texas A&M. You think their mom had any influence over them?
I was married on July 16, 2005 to Kevin Dooley. Kevin and I met on the Internet. Our wedding was even on the Internet! I guess you would say my life really revolves around technology.
When I am not working, I enjoying reading, walking, jogging, working out, kayaking, traveling and playing computer games.
