Welcome to Reading SCE - State Compensatory Education

Hello Rawlinson Patriots,

I'm very excited to be here!  I look forward to helping your child become a better reader and to instill the love of reading.  In addition, my goal is to improve your child's previous state mandated test score using the skills and strategies taught in class using the Read 180 program as well as implementing 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Reading TEKS.

I consider myself a native Texan after living here 20 years but I was born and raised in Fresno, California, home of the Bulldogs!  As a former military wife, I have lived in exciting places across the U.S.: Vandenburg AFB, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Washington, D.C., and Minot, ND.  I am married with two children, an 12 year old  and a 24 year old and two spoiled dogs!
