INTERVENTION (FLEX) CODES

If you noticed your student has a 18, 20, or 21 average please don't be alarmed.

Most likely that is not their average and just their intervention code.  The 8th grade Science teachers are working together this year to help all 8th grade students to be successful.  We will have different re-teaching activities based on your child's needs and the coedes help your child know what room to go to.

18 will go to room B218 for Coach Kliewer's intervention.

20 will go to room B220 for Mr. Martini's intervention.

21 will go to room B221 for Mrs. Arthur's intervention.

ABOUT ME

Dear Students and Parents:

My name is Jennifer Arthur.  I graduated from Texas A&M University and am a proud Aggie!  I'm married and have two dogs, Sadie Bell and Shiner Boy.  I love playing sports, watching sports, fishing, hunting, crafts, reading, snorkeling, jet skiing, and teaching!

This is my 7th year of teaching.  I’m looking forward to working with you to make this a great year! I am so excited to have the chance to be your science teacher.  I care about my students, and I want to help you do your best. I know you will learn a lot this year.  Personally, I think science is a fun class, so we should have lots of fun while we learn this year.

Everyday, you will need to bring to science class: science notebook, agenda, and a pencil.  Homework will not be assigned on a daily basis, but rather as it is needed.  Assigned homework will not be accepted late.  Class work that is taken home to be finished will receive full credit as long as it is turned in the very next class day.

Let’s have a great year! Go Patriots!

-    Mrs. Arthur
