Welcome Class of 2014-2015

Your child is beginning an exciting new path in 4th grade. I look forward to a wonderful and exciting year!

This is my fifth year teaching, and I love it!  I graduated in May 2009 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas in San Antonio.  I am certified in Early Childhood through fourth grade Generalist, English as a Second Language, and Special Education. I completed my student teaching in Northside and fell in love with our amazing district and students.

I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to work with your children.  I believe that teaching is a joint effort between teachers and parents.  I look forward to working with you to ensure that your child has an amazing school year! I will need your support in the areas of academics, discipline, and homework. In return, I will try to keep you up to date on what’s happening at school through your child’s AVID binder, notes, newsletters, emails, and phone calls. Thanks, in advance, for all your support!

We are going to have a wonderful year full of exciting challenges!! My goal is to create a love for learning in each and every child in my classroom with hopes that they will become lifelong learners.

I am here for you and your family. I am excited to begin our work together as a team to make your child successful this year!  Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have questions or concerns.
