Our PTSA addresses issues that are important to our community – students, teachers
and parents. Each group aspires for the same thing – for their campus to be a

Improve the communication between teachers, parents and students. This is done by keeping everyone informed of current events, issues and school/student accomplishments.
Tap into programs, such as "The Reflection Program," for showcasing our students' gifts and skills. Through the "Parent/Family Involvement Program," parents have the opportunity to get involved in various activities at John Jay.
Provide for the continued issuing of college scholarships for deserving graduating seniors.
Provide opportunities to show appreciation to the faculty and staff for the tremendous job they do with the students of John Jay and the Science and Engineering Academy.
