WELCOME TO THE JOHN JAY AND SEA SCIENCE DEPARTMENT WEBPAGE!
The faculty of the JJHS & SEA Science Department provides instruction for approximately 3000 Science and Engineering Academy and John Jay students. The selected courses provide pathways to enable students to successfully meet the requirements of the state mandated individual course EOC exams as well as Advanced Placement Tests.
Rigor in the science courses is designed to enable students to be successful on the End of Course Exams and Advanced Plecement tests.
A variety of elective science classes including advanced academics courses are also available for further enrichment and preparation for college.
Many students participate in extracurricular activities including UIL competition, science research, science fair competition, and science interest clubs.
