 Welcome to Mrs. Sosa's Class where learning is so fun! Everyone is a winner in our class! I am very excited about this school year! This is my 18th year as a teacher for Northside Independent School District. I graduated from the University of Texas in San Antonio with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Our class motto is: You never know what you can do until you try.

        • 8:30-10:05          Reading/Language Arts
        • 10:05-10:10        Snack/Restroom/Water Break
        • 10:10-10:55        Specials
        • 11:10-11:45        Math Wall/Problem Solving
        • 11:45-12:15        Lunch
        • 12:15-1:00          Math
        • 1:00-1:20            Recess  
        • 1:20-1:30            Restroom/Water Break
        • 1:30-2:30            Science/Social Studies 
        • 2:30-2:35            Reflection Time
        • 2:35-2:45            Prepare for Dismissal
      • *Specials (Day 1-P.E., Day 2-Music, Day 3-P.E., Day  4-Computers,Day 5- P.E., Day 6-Art)

Friendly Reminders:

  • Tardy bell rings at 7:45
  • Students will be released at 11:45 on Early Release Days
  • Students are allowed and encouraged to bring a healthy snack & a water bottle on a daily basis
  • Spelling tests are on Fridays
  • Homework Packets are due on Fridays
  • Please sign & return Behavior Folder on a daily basis
  • Encourage your child to practice his/her math basic facts daily
