Welcome to the Boone Library

Books and Technology Take You Places

The Mission of Boone Elem. School Library, in partnership with teachers, parents, and community, is to encourage a life-long love for reading by offering age appropriate reading materials, technology and print material to enhance active learning.

Boone library is open from 7:10 - 3:30 daily. There are 20,000 print books for students to choose from. We have electronic books students can access from webcat. We also have books that students may download to their own devices. We have both fiction and non-fiction material.  Our electronic library catalog is available from school and HOME at http://webcat.nisd.net

Parents are welcome to check out books for their students. A parent may check out 5 books and enjoy them for 2 weeks. We also have a section in the library named Parent Resources. Email me with your name, address, phone # and student's name if you would like to check out materials.  You may come before or after school to check out. If you are unable to come to school, find the books on WEBCAT and email the list to me -   I will check them out to you and send them home with your student!
