Parents are welcome to check out books for their students. A parent may check out 5 books and enjoy them for 2 weeks. We also have a section in the library named Parent Resources. Email me with your name, address, phone # and student's name if you would like to check out materials.  You may come before or after school to check out. If you are unable to come to school, find the books on WEBCAT and email the list to me -   I will check them out to you and send them home with your student!

Site Description
A set of 20 titles that all 3rd - 6th graders may read. If a 3rd - 6th grader reads or hears 5 or more books, the student may vote for a favorite title. Voting occurs during the month of January. Texas Library Assoc. reports the winning title. This is the only book list that TX students have an opportunity to pick their favorite book. The author of the winning title is invited to speak at the Texas Library Conference in April of that year.
After you have read a few Bluebonnet books, go to this site to find out more about the authors and illustrators and then rate the books.
