 Physical Education Grades K-5


    Welcome to P.E.! I look forward to a wonderful year with all of you. Coach Snyder and I will be teaching your kids the importance of daily physical activity and healthy eating habits. Boone students, get ready to exercise and learn about all the right foods and drinks that will energize you and make you healthier. I would like to take this moment to mention just a few things that might be helpful to you and your child. I will focus our lessons on your child's physical, emotional, and social development. Your child will participate in individual and dual activities, as well as, team sports. Motor-skill development and health-related fitness will also be emphasized throughout the year.  Please remember to always send your child dressed appropriately (tennis shoes, comfortable clothing) to do physical activities. I hope this year is successful and rewarding, both academically and physically, for you and your child.  Please feel free to meet with me or Coach Snyder about any concerns regarding your child . Our conference period is from 2:00-2:45.

Things to ask your child throughout the year: PTA/P.E. Showcase Night, School Rock Challenge, Bike Rodeo, Go Kids Challenge, and Field Day.

Volunteers : Field Day will be on March 7, the Friday before Spring Break!
