Hello my name is Jill Rath and I am extemely excited to be a Michael Star. This school year, 2013-14, will be my fifth year as a reading specialist. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, with a concentration in English, from Kansas State University. I have acquired my ESL certification so I am able to work with children that are English Language Learners as well as traditional students. I earned my master's degree in Advanced Literacy  with Reading Certification from Concordia University of Texas.  My experience has included teaching second and third grade students in the NorthEast ISD for 15 years.
