My name is Anita Packen and I am the Special Education Department Coordinator. We in the Special Education department are prepared and excited to meet the needs of the students and staff here at O'Connor HS.

Site Description
Our mission is to ensure people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live in Bexar County receive necessary quality services. Our core values include individual worth, quality, integrity, dedication, innovation, teamwork, education, and family
CHADD's primary objectives are: to provide a support network for parents and caregivers; to provide a forum for continuing education; to be a community resource and disseminate accurate, evidence-based information about AD/HD to parents, educators, adults, professionals, and the media; to promote ongoing research; and to be an advocate on behalf of the AD/HD community.
To provide unique experiences through physical and creative activities in a supportive environment to children with special needs who may otherwise be excluded.
The first 25 acre park specifically designed for children and adults with special needs. They can enjoy outdoor recreation with family and friends in a fun and safe environment.
Information to assist students to see what it takes to live on their own after they graduate from high school.
To provide leadership, guidance and resources to help schools meet the educational needs of all students.
We offer the following for people with developmental disabilities and their families: Access to community services A licensed childcare program Life enrichment programs for adults Community classes and recreation Workshops for parents and professionals
