Dear Students and Families,

I’d like to welcome you and your Clark High School student to English I. I am an energetic and motivated teacher who is dedicated to providing students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to become successful and independent individuals. My main goal this school year is to encourage your student to grow as a learner, a reader, and a writer. We will be working diligently all year to prepare students for passing the English I STAAR exam.

Furthermore, I believe that communicating and building relationships with students and families is very important for academic success. On this class website you will find helpful web links, class handouts, PowerPoints, and lesson plans.
