Welcome Banner

Welcome to Ms. Morrow's page!

I have been teaching at Thornton for 16 years.  Prior to teaching Fifth Grade at Thornton, I taught Second Grade at another Northside school.  I have been teaching for a total of 21 years.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and in Spanish, and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.  I am certified to teach Regular Education, Bilingual Education, and ESL for Grades 1-6.

I believe that my students' many differences in learning styles, abilities, languages, customs, and cultures make my class an exciting place to learn!

I also believe that teaching content and skills through integrated and differentiated instruction helps my students learn through meaningful and authentic cross-curricular connections, and with indivdualized learning paces and levels.

My conference time is from 1:50-2:35 Monday and Wednesday through Friday.

Our lunch time is 12:35-1:05.  Parents may eat with their children at designated tables in the cafeteria.

Click here to email me or call me at (210)397-3990 extension 3105.
