Mrs. Fikac

Campus Instructional Technologist

Technology Wordle
Welcome!  My name is Michelle Fikac and I am the Campus Instructional Technologist for Valley Hi and Virginia Myers Elementary.  I graduated from Texas A&M University where I received my Bachelor of Sciences degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  In 2006, I completed a Master of Sciences degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Technology Integration through Walden University.  I am currently in my seventeenth year of teaching and my fifteenth year with Northside.  I began my Northside career at Virginia Myers Elementary teaching third grade and eventually moved up to teaching fifth grade.  This marks my tenth year being a Campus Instructional Technologist (CIT).

My main role as a Campus Instructional Technologist is to provide support to teachers in the development of lessons and activities that incorporate the use of technology in the classroom and computer lab setting.

My mission is to provide teachers and students with a safe, supportive learning environment that promotes technology integration, while providing multiple opportunities for growth and facilitating experiences that encourage life-long learning.
