Kay Sofet, Music I

Welcome

Meet Mrs. Sofet

My name is Kay Sofet, and this is my 6th year teaching music at Ward ES, and my 13th year with NISD.  I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from The College of New Jersey, and my primary instrument is the flute.  I love reading, bird watching, and going to the beach.  I have a wonderful husband, two grown sons, and one grandson.  My goal is for the students to enjoy music, and know that they can participate in the joy of making music for the rest of their lives.  If you need to contact me, you may do so at 397-6800 (x3113) or  kay.sofet@nisd.net.

Welcome to Music!

Students will learn about music through singing, listening, moving, singing games and the playing of instruments.
